about this role

The Campaign Team Lead is responsible for managing a group of Campaign Managers and Coordinators within our agency across all digital marketing channels and platforms. You have a strategic approach to how all marketing channels work together and are able to identify and recommend the best strategies and tactics to deliver on a client’s business goal. You also enjoy campaign management and are able to both actively work in the platform and guide your team with troubleshooting assistance and suggestions.

You will work closely with the Client Service Lead on a day-to-day basis ensuring that client deliverables are met. You are passionate about digital marketing, encourage testing and learning, and strive to fully understand the capabilities and changes within the industry. You will be a leader in the Campaigns team, and as it grows and evolves you will help contribute to new processes and ideas, shaping the way the team functions. With this role you will also help generate additional revenue for tempo digital through additional services and new business pitches.

client support
  • Develop plans that answer client marketing briefs by providing strategic and tactical solutions that deliver on their KPIs. Support tempo digital’s position of testing and using industry best practices.

  • Attend key client meetings and use the tempo digital dashboard to present results, insights, and recommendations on digital marketing performance.

  • Liaise with the Client Services team to develop dashboards and reports that showcase the results for our clients and ensure accurate data is presented.

  • Work with the Client Service team to keep them updated on client deliverables and the status of ongoing projects from your team.

platform expertise
  • Keep up-to-date on new and upcoming changes, enhancements, and updates to the various platforms and have a proactive approach to testing new features.

  • Share industry news and knowledge with the team to further grow their skills and understanding of the platforms they manage.

  • Support the team by helping to troubleshoot campaign delivery and pacing issues, addressing items such as disapproved ads, slow delivery, tracking, and reporting discrepancies.

  • Keep abreast of the performance of your clients campaigns and work with your team to highlight areas of opportunity to support each client’s goals.

team management
  • Train and mentor your team by providing feedback through informal meetings and scheduled performance reviews.

  • Continually look for and address areas for improvement for the team and the work they provide to clients.

  • Review and provide feedback for client report notes and ad hoc analyses by your team.

  • Ensure internal quality assurance steps for campaign launches are followed and kept up to date according to the tempo digital process.

  • Resolve issues from your team and keep leadership aware of them, outlining steps taken to manage.

  • You can showcase a thorough understanding of all digital marketing channels and understand both strategic planning and hands-on execution.

  • You are well versed in using Google Sheets/Excel and Google Slides, and can develop visual presentations to express your ideas.

  • You can demonstrate strong communication skills when dealing with both internal and external contacts, showing professionalism and the ability to ideate during conversations.

  • You have experience leading a team and encouraging a positive work environment for your team.

  • You are excited about new business opportunities, driven to help on business pitches, and know how to celebrate success no matter the size it is.

  • 4-6 years of relevant agency experience managing campaigns for clients.
